    Jack starring in LASt VEGAS ?

    Jack Nicholson is being lined up to take on the role of a womanising playboy in the new comedy movie 'LASt VEGAS'.

    Jack - famous for his own hellraising ways and appetite for beautiful women - has been approached to take on the part in the film - dubbed a geriatric version of box office hit 'The Hangover' - and is believed to be keen to take it on. The script comes from red-hot screenwriter Dan Fogelman (Cars, Bolt).
     
    The plot follows four male friends who grew up in the 50s, and who reunite in Vegas to witness the last remaining bachelor among them, Billy (Nicholson), finally get married. If Jack takes the part, it would see the 73-year-old actor battle it out in the movie for the same woman as one of his old friends, a widower called Paddy.


    According to the script this would be Billy's introduction in the movie:

    These eyes have a spark in them. They belong to BILLY GERSON (70’s), every bit the mischievous imp he was as a young boy, a stark contrast to the others.

    CHYRON: MALIBU, CA.

    Billy speaks into a MIC, roasting someone, mid-story ...

    BILLY

    ... and you remember what I said, Ronnie? I said: “Ronnie, I know you’re down in the dumps. But as a fellow bachelor, let me assure you - you’ll bounce back. Because you may not be very smart, and you may not be very rich, but Pal: you sure are fucking ugly.”

    LAUGHTER. We PAN to RONNIE who sits in ...

    A COFFIN. Dead. Oh, Billy is giving a eulogy.



    Morgan Freeman and Gene Hackman are rumoured to be in line for roles as well.

    Jack has most recently been working on 'How Do You Know', a romantic comedy where he stars alongside Reese Witherspoon and Owen Wilson.
     
    His casting in 'LASt VEGAS' has yet to be confirmed or denied by the production company, CBS films.

I'm glad to see Jack finally make another film. They have been so few and far between I thought he was retiring and he was only in his 60's. Some actors are still going strong into their 80's. C'MON JACK, MAKE MORE MOVIES.....I LOVE YOU!! smile smile

I sure hope Jack takes the roll. Would love to see another movie with him as lead. Bonus would be having Morgan with him.. smile smile
