Jack Nicholson has been voted Hollywood's top hellraiser in a poll of British film fans.
Jack won over 24 percent of the votes, outmatching former drug abuser and Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. in a survey of more than 1,300 people by LoveFilm.com.
Braveheart star and convicted drunk driver Mel Gibson came third, while Kiefer Sutherland, who spent 48 days in prison for drink driving earlier this year (08), was ranked fourth.
Former wild child Drew Barrymore was the highest-placed woman on the list, coming in at fifth with 10 per cent of votes.

Kipling's Elephant's Child was recorded on tape years ago by Jack, and it was absolutely delicious to listen to his unmistakable, slightly vilinous voice as he read. The "great, gray-green, greasy Limpopo River" (to which the elephant child went and got its nose stretched into a trunk) became an ominous location, the crocodile grew menacing, and the child's relatives were protrayed as stupidly evil in Jack's rendition of the story.
They say you can hear in a person's voice over the phone whether he is smiling or not, and I sware I could hear Jack smile. He read with great relish. I played the tape for my fourth grade students, and I played it over and over for myself.

You still have it Jack, sex appeal and a great actor!! If you are ever in Sacramento send me an E Mail and I would be proud and honored to go aand have a drink with you. I know that you are a very busy man and that would probably never happen, but a woman can dream, right? Seriously, you are a great actor, and I,m sure that I have seen all of your movies. I even watch the lakers to see you in the stands, which by the way you were not at the game last week!

In Jack's case, BAD is GOOD!!! Especially in the movie, "The Departed." He played a good bad ass. |
