On Monday (Feb 4th 2008), Jack Nicholson announced his support of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on the Rick Dees in the Morning Show on Los Angeles' Movin' 93.9 FM.
Nicholson's move puts him in the same league as longtime Clinton boosters Barbra Streisand and Danny DeVito.
Jack has been a longtime friend of Rick Dees and wanted to announce his support for Hillary Clinton prior to "Super Tuesday" in California. Nicholson, normally restrained in his political leanings, shared that he wanted to tap Dees' established mass-market audience to spread the word. Nicholson said, "Rick is all about the regular guy and what's important to us all. He's got die-hard fans and listeners around the world, for Heaven's sake. If that's not mass-market appeal, I don't know what is. I want my vote to make a difference: it starts here - today - with Rick."
In a surprise move, Hillary Clinton called into Rick Dees' show during Jack's live endorsement.

I'm disappointed in Nicholson's decision to support Hillary. For all of Hillary's touting how much she does for children, how can she explain her vote against banning cluster bombs (amendment #4882)? What about all the children who are victimized by cluster bombs? Sen. Obama did not support the war in Iraq and he voted in favor of banning cluster bombs. I'll take Sen. Obama's judgement over Hillary's anytime.

I'm glad you found your voice! I was listening to Michael Moore last night, I liked what he had to say about morally not being able to vote for Hillary, because of her vote on the war! I at one time wrote my congressman, included a picture of a small child, a photograph of a child I took in Nicaragua. I told him if he didn't vote to reinstate the Boland Ammendment, then morally I couldn't vote for him and have on my conscience the possible death of this child. I have been marching yearly against this war, before and since, dissapointed in the low turnout of young people, Obama inspires those youth, makes them believe, not fear. A vote for Hillary is a vote related to fear, a vote that says a woman can't be viable unless her husband is the ex-president, able to assist her if she gets in over her head. I'm tired of being told to be afraid!

I did'nt realize just how stupid Jack really is. He has often played the tough guy hawk, like in A Few Good Men. Turns how he is just a big pretender and another stupid liberal hollywood moron.
