    Jack Nicholson rumoured for new movie Americana

    Jack Nicholson is rumoured to star in a new movie "Americana", planned for release in 2011.
    IMDB lists a movie page already, with some brief info on the movie. Jack is rumoured to take on the part of Edgar Johnson. Other co-start who is also rumoured is Philip Seymour Hoffman, who would play the part of Cullen Baker.

    Director is Paulo Morelli, who also directed Cidade dos Homens (City of Men) in 2007.

    The movie story is set in the1860s Confederate South, and tells the story of a farmer and slave owner who flees the Civil War for Brazil where he finds new love and a fresh start, but as he fights to protect the racial harmony of his new life, he cannot escape his past.
