    Jack Nicholson nominated for New Jersey Hall of Fame Jack Nicholson is one of the nominees for the New Jersey Hall of Fame.
    He features in a list of 30 potential Hall of Fame inductees, along with basketball star Shaquille O'Neal, comedian Jerry Lewis and rocker Jon Bon Jovi.

    Just 10 celebrities will be chosen in a statewide online vote, with the polls closing on 30 November 2008.
    Nominees must have lived in New Jersey for a minimum of five years in order to be eligible.
    In 2007 among the winners were Bruce Springsteen, Frank Sinatra and Meryl Streep.
