Jack Nicholson mourns favourite waitress
Jack Nicholson has paid tribute to his favourite waitress after learning of her death.
El Cholo Mexican restaurant regular Carmen Rocha, who is credited with introducing Los Angeles to nachos, lost her battle with cancer on 9 October 2008 at the age of 77.
And her passing has been noted by one of her most famous customers - Jack Nicholson.
He tells the Los Angeles Times newspaper, "Carmen was wonderful, to me and to everybody. It's a community loss."
Rocha had been working at the restaurant since 1959 and the restaurant lounge was renamed Carmen's Cantina to mark her retirement a decade ago.
